What to check the day a lighting order arrives
The one rule with decorative lighting is to test before you fit. A set that is faulty is easy to return; a set already clipped along a balcony is not.
The five-minute check
- Unroll the set fully on the floor — do not test it in the coil.
- Plug it in and check every section lights, including the far end.
- Cycle through the modes if it has them.
- Check the length and the bulb count against the product page.
- Keep the packaging until the set is up and working.
If a section is dark
Photograph the set powered on, showing the dark section, along with the outer packing, and contact us within the damaged-item window on our Return & Refund Policy page. We review each case and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
What is not a fault
A slight variation in shade between two sets of the same stated colour is normal manufacturing variation. A set that looks dimmer stretched over a longer run than in the photograph is spacing, not a defect.
Installation
We sell the lights; we do not install them, and we do not advise on wiring. Anything wired into mains should be handled by a qualified electrician.
